A letter from
your hosts.

Welcome to Three Lakes Horse Trials located at Caudle Ranch near Groveland, Florida. Caudle Ranch is a beautiful equestrian property with gently rolling land that borders three scenic lakes.

It was originally purchased by R.S. Caudle in the 1940's. Over the years, it was developed into a cattle and citrus operation until back-to-back freezes in the early 1980's destroyed the citrus groves. What was left of the groves was cleared and replaced with rows of slash pines, and the pastures were turned into hay fields.

The current property owners, the three granddaughters of R.S., wanted to find a use for the property that would preserve its beauty and give it a purpose. When approached by Alice and Brad Andrews in 2015 about partnering to host recognized events, it seemed like the perfect fit. With the ambitious goal of holding the first event in January 2016, work began — and we've hosted several more since.

Our goal is to offer the eventing community a friendly, well organized, and quality eventing experience on a one-of-a-kind property. We hope that Three Lakes Horse Trials becomes a regular event on your calendar, and we look forward to seeing you at our next event.
